Solid-state quantum technologies are nowadays at the core of both technological innovation and fundamental research. The School, organized by the National Quantum Science and Technology Institute  (NQSTI),  will be held in Catania from June 30th to July 5th, 2025. It aims to provide in-depth of current topics as:

  • Quantum hardware (super- semiconductors, impurities, topological)
  • Open quantum systems (non-Markovian to many-body)
  • Optimal control and AI for quantum
  • Quantum sensing
  • Quantum thermodynamics
  • Selected topics: quantum meters, multiplexing, frequency transduction, modular architectures, energy/climate/health, enterprise.
