Solid-state quantum technologies are nowadays at the core of both technological innovation and fundamental research. The School, organized in Catania by the National Quantum Science and Technology Institute (NQSTI), aims to provide in-depth of current topics as:
- Quantum hardware (super- semiconductors, impurities, topological)
- Open quantum systems (non-Markovian to many-body)
- Optimal control and AI for quantum
- Quantum sensing
- Quantum thermodynamics
- Selected topics: quantum meters, multiplexing, frequency transduction, modular architectures, energy/climate/health, enterprise
The school is aimed at PhD students wishing to acquire training and skills in the field of solid-state quantum technologies. Interested students are asked to pre-register via the following link: pre-registration and abstract submission form.
